Our adventures take place across carefully curated locations around North Wales, often off the beaten track. When you book your adventure, we will confirm where you will meet your instructor. However most of our mountain adventures will take place in Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), whereas our coastal adventures take place on Holyhead, Anglesey.

We tailor our adventures to fit you, and in order to do this we can change the length of our activities to fit your needs. However, most activities take a minimum of two hours, with a maximum of a full 8 hour day.

Yes, many of our activities are available for morning and afternoon bookings. Some activities however, such as scrambling, do not lend themselves to half day sessions, so you can only book a full day.

You should wear outdoor clothing suitable for the weather. Great Outdoor Adventures provide all specialist equipment. After completing your booking, we will send you a comprehensive kit list detailing anything you need to bring. You can also check out the kit lists on our activities page.

Our prices range from £30 - £80 per person, depending on the type and length of activity.

You can book online directly through our website. Please contact us if you have any questions about our activities or adventures.

You can cancel your booking up to 2 weeks before the date of your adventure and receive a full refund. If you wish to cancel your adventure after this period, we, unfortunately, will have to charge an administration fee equivalent to 50% of the total price. Any booking cancelled 48 hours before the scheduled time is subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

Of course. Our minimum age limit is 10 years old, however if you would like to organise an activity for children younger than 10, then please contact us. We can create an adventure for everyone!

We can accommodate up to 8 people on an adventure, with a minimum of 2.

Our instructors are fully qualified to lead the activities included in your adventure.
